Jump auf Tour in Plauen


Anlässlich des Stadtparkfestes machte "JUMP auf Tour" mit seinem Programm am 22. August im Parktheater im vogtländischen Plauen Halt. Außer den Jump-DJs und den Jump-Dancers, welche bei diesen Veranstaltungen regelmäßig für Stimmung sorgen, wurden an dem Abend noch zwei Topacts präsentiert, die trotz des äußerst schlechten Wetters 1500 Zuschauer anlockten.

Dabei herrschte den ganzen Tag hochsommerliches Wetter, aber je näher der Beginn von JUMP auf Tour rückte, umso mehr starb die Hoffnung, dass man an diesem Abend trocken bleiben könnte. Pünktlich zum Einlass fing es an zu regnen, so dass man gezwungen war, sich die Musik der DJs nur aus einem sicheren Unterschlupf an einer der zahlreichen Bars und Imbissstände anzuhören. Aber um 21.00 Uhr sollte die erste Band auf der Bühne rocken. Von oben her gab es kein Einsehen, also musste man die heftigen Regenfälle über sich ergehen lassen, um Benny and The Jets nicht nur hören, sondern auch sehen zu können. Mit ein wenig Geschick und der helfenden Hand einer zweiten Person, die mittels Regenschirm die Kamera retten musste, gelang es sogar noch Fotos vom Auftritt zu machen – leider dennoch total durchnässt.

Aber die vier Jungs aus Süddeutschland, Benny and The Jets, rockten die Bühne im Parktheater und brachten eine Stimmung unter die Leute, dass man einfach vergessen musste wie durchweicht und kalt einem war – jeder fing einfach an zu der Musik zu rocken. Die Songs, die allesamt auf der Akustik-Gitarre von Benny entstanden, sind rockig, voll aus dem Leben gegriffen, aber auch sehr gefühlvoll. So enthielt die Setlist der Band einerseits rockige Titel, aber andererseits auch gefühlvolle Balladen. Bei dem wohl bekanntesten Titel Ich liebe alles an Dir (außer deinen Freund), mit dem Benny & the Jets Anfang des Jahres auf sich aufmerksam machten und die Bravo-Charts enterten, kam richtige Stimmung auf. Viele kannten den Song bereits und sangen ihn mit. Die anderen Titel, wie Kannst du sie hören, Wie krieg ich dich, Jetzt oder nie, Unverwundbar, Sommer und Auferstanden, gingen ebenfalls sofort ins Ohr, auch wenn diese Songs vielleicht noch nicht jedem im Publikum bekannt waren. Nach dem Auftritt der Band konnte man sich nur wünschen, dass es in Zukunft noch viel mehr davon zu hören gibt. Aber nach der nächsten bald geplanten Single, dem Album und noch mehr Live-Auftritten, wird die Fanbase der Band sicher immer mehr zunehmen.
